Memorable Photographs From The 1980s - At Radiology Department, HUSM

 

Hospital University Sains Malaysia, also known Hospital USM or simply HUSM. HUSM is a teaching hospital and referral center for most of eastern Malaysia. 

The establishment of Hospital Universiti Sains Malaysia was approved by the Cabinet on 23 November 1982. The Federal Government has agreed to the proposed acquisition of 72.84 hectares of land in Kubang Kerian, Kelantan. The RM29.5 million hospital built under the Ministry of Health was completed in 1983.

The establishment of the USM Health Campus in Kubang Kerian since 1983 has attracted other businesses to relocate to Kubang Kerian, which has helped boost the economy of Kubang Kerian and the surrounding areas.

SOMETIMES you will never know the true value of a MOMENT until it's become a MEMORY. A memory was a photograph taken by the heart to make a special moment last forever. 

The photos below remind us of the people who had been with us on that day almost 30 years ago. They also have their own memories. We'll be friends for life, sharing our dreams together. 

Although we're off to different places and we're far apart, our memories are deep within our hearts. These are the times to remember. Our Memories Will Last Forever.

We have a good and valuable visit to the Hospital. 

They greet us in a friendly way 
when we arrive at the place

En Zahari Zakaria, the first patient who underwent successful coronary artery bypass surgery on 7th November 2001. The operations was led by Datuk Dr Yahya Awang (Head of Cardiac Surgery from IJN) and HUSM’S cardiothoracic surgeon, Dr Mohamad Ziyadi Haji Ghazali.

Remembering old memories has a quality of its own, it brings back a lot of good and bad memories. Good memories give me reason to feel happy and bad memories give me very valuable life lessons. Things end.... but memories last forever.

06th August 2023 - We were shocked to hear the demise of Mr. Khalid Osman who was a great manager. His contribution as ex-manager @chief radiographer in the department of radiology will be remembered forever. May Allah bless his soul and he be placed among the righteous in the highest place in paradise.... Aamiin.
