WORLD RADIOGRAPHY DAY 2020: Elevating Patient Care with ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE

World Radiology Day is celebrated on November 8th every year. The day is celebrated by radiographers worldwide. The day is a tribute to the great discovery of radiation by x-rays by Wilhelm Conrad Rontgen in the year 1895.

The purpose of this day is to raise public awareness of radiographic imaging and therapy which play a crucial role in the diagnosis and the treatment of patients. Most importantly to ensuring radiation is kept to the minimum required, hence improving the quality of patient care. It’s also a great opportunity to talk to internship students to raise awareness about the profession and stimulate their interest in Radiography as a career.

World Radiology Day 2020 is dedicated to all our radiology team who are staying and have stayed fearlessly on the frontline of COVID-19 pandemic. They are standing in the field of high radiation day and night for health treatment. They required to do their jobs... despite great risk on the line to help others during the covid-19 outbreak.

Thank you so much for your support and hard work during this difficult time. Your kindness, humility, and strength are so incredible.
