Pre-Retirement Course was held on 22 & 23 September 2019 at Auditorium Kompleks Pentadbiran Hospital. This course was conducted by UNIT PERKHIDMATAN & SARAAN, Jabatan Pendaftar Kampus Kesihatan.
This course was designed for us in preparation for our retirement soon.

Malaysian civil servants retire at the age of sixty. The era of early retirement is over. Employees at the age of 60 are considered still
healthy and in good conditions to keep working. The Malaysian government had
increased the retirement age from 58 to 60 years old in 2012, Some retire even earlier on an optional basis or due to health reasons. With the uncertainty of the current economy and the increase in the cost of living, many older
employees in Malaysia have to continue working despite reaching their official retirement
age.
By the end of the Pre-Retirement Course, we will be able to:

- Plan the transition from work to retirement. The transition from work to retirement is one of the most demanding during lifespan.
- Understand various administrative formalities related to retirement.
- Prepare our day to day life after leaving the Organization and maintain quality of life before and after leaving the workforce.
- The importance of health and fitness during retirement and how we can improve our chances of staying fit and healthy.
